When my first daughter, Olivia, was born it was the greatest feeling of all.  I was finally a mummy and I embraced every moment – even the sleepless nights!

Having the odd sleepless night was bearable because I was very fortunate to not be working therefore her nap time was also my nap time!

My Story

When Olivia was just 22 months, I gave birth to Jessica – two beautiful girls, I felt like the luckiest person in the world!

Jessica, right from the off, wasn’t the best at sleeping. As Olivia was still so young, I was so paranoid about breaking her routine that I did everything I could to get Jessica to sleep when Olivia did.  I would rock her, lay with her, cuddle her, whatever it took, I did it!

Needless to say, Jessica developed terrible sleep habits that continued and continued until I was at breaking point – believe it or not, Jessica was 4 years old when I had finally had enough. I had ulcers in my mouth, I was grouchy, I was argumentative, it was affecting my work and relationship and I knew I needed help.

After a lot of research, I found Judy – my saviour! I reached out to Judy and she guided me through a plan, helping me daily – within 5 nights Jessica was sleeping 7pm-7am, I simply couldn’t believe it! I knew right there and then that I wanted to help other families, working for a corporate company in London just wasn’t for me anymore. I said to Judy that if she were ever to take on another sleep consultant please let it be me!…

In the meantime, I started working at my daughters’ primary school, I knew that working with children in some way was what I was meant to be doing… 5 years later I get a call from Judy to say she ready to take someone on – I was over the moon, and here I am!

Sleep is so important to me I decided I want to help families!

I decided to become a professional child sleep therapist and consultant because I believed it would allow me to help more people in a more meaningful way.

With this in mind, I completed an in-depth training program with Dana Obleman to become the first leading certified Sleep Sense™ consultant in the UK. Over the years I have helped hundreds of families all over the world transform their lives.

I will work closely with you and show you how to lovingly teach your child how to sleep on his or her own, without the use of addictive sleep props such as a dummy or walks in a pram, so your whole family can get the sleep you need to live happier, healthier lives.

My two girls sleep 12-13 hours every night. I can help you teach your child to do the same thing.

The British Sleep Society (BSS/BPSS)

I am a certified member of the British Sleep Society. This is a professional organisation for medical, scientific and healthcare workers dealing with sleeping disorders. They are a registered British charity, whose ultimate aim is to improve public health by promoting education and research into sleep and its disorders.

The Lullaby Trust

I am a member and receive regular training by The Lullaby Trust. It is a charity that raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and offers emotional support for bereaved families. They assist healthcare professionals who support new families, to make sure parents receive consistent advice and are equipped with the knowledge to sleep their baby more safely.
